The 'PT Brace' is a light weight metal truss frame that can be used for all types of bracing ranging from of N3 (W41N) to C3 (W60C) cyclonic.
A certified racking test has been conducted by BHP Steel Lysaght Test Report 1562 and all PT Brace' models have been certified by Glynn Tucker Consulting Engineers, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. 'PT Brace' complies with the provisions of Section B, Structures, of the Building Code of Australia (B.C.A.).

Large window and door openings are a breeze, especially where minimum wall space is available for bracing, as the 'PT Brace' has a capacity to 28kN per metre ultimate limit state load. The 'PT Brace fits between the studs within the house frame. The specially designed and Engineer certified hold-down bolts are an essential part of the System and must be cast into the slab to attain maximum value.
The 'PT Brace' is manufactured to suit standard building frames of 2400mm, 2550mm, 2700mm, 3000mm, 3300mm and 3600mm nominal heights. However, Special Sizes can be supplied on request.
